Julie Shaw

Research Specialist

Education.

Julie graduated cum laude in 2004 from Harvard University with a degree in American History and Literature. She received her Postgraduate Degree in (UK) Law from BPP Law School in London in 2007.

Experience.

A commitment to thorough, high-quality research has been the common thread throughout Julie’s work experience, which has included prospect research for Georgetown University’s Development Office, legal research and implementation of applicable policies and procedures as the compliance officer at a London-based hedge fund, and background research on individuals and companies for an international fund marketing firm.  Extremely detail-oriented, Julie loves a challenge and approaches each project with a view to ensuring that every angle of available information is explored to the greatest extent to support ongoing cases.

Background.

Julie grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina, before attending St. Andrew’s School in Delaware for high school.  There, she discovered rowing, going on to compete as a coxswain nationally and internationally in both high school and college.  Outside of work, Julie enjoys travel, attempting to play tennis, the North Carolina mountains and spending time with her husband, Gavin, their three children and two dogs.
